Searching MetroDate
You can search by location before you sign up. You'll get pages of results, with photos of possible matches for you. When you sign up, you can add Religion, Race, Education, Height, Smoker/Nonsmoker, Children/No Kids and Body Type to the parameters.

What Surprised Me on MetroDate
Very clearly laid out with large icons on My Account page. Under each icon is a drop-down menu - this works very well.
